Welcome to my website!

Just a little about what’s going on right now and what’s in my head.

In general, I have a movie rolling over in my head, which makes it pretty easy for me to just pick up where I left off and continue on with whatever story I’m working on. I just recently published my sixth manuscript – November 17th. It takes place here in Milford, DE and Florence/Positano Italy. These are all new characters with new challenges. Like the rest of my books, this is an every day story about regular people that just happen to have to trade one situation in their life for another. Who hasn't had to do that, right?

Currently I’m also working on a book of short stories, 13 to be exact. The title, Tredici Porte - which is 13 doors in Italian. As many of you know, David and I spent 3 months in Italy a year and a half ago. During that time I found a mass of beautiful doors. So I decided to pick 13 that caught my eye and I'm writing a story for each one.

At the moment I have four new works in process. The above Tredici Porte - Submission - The House and Christmas Greetings. You can find information about each on the New Projects Tab. I'm also turning my first book, Bless Me Father, into a screenplay. This, along with running Breaking Rules Publishing, keeping up with David and his artwork,  and living life at the beach – I’m rather busy, and thankfully, I kind of like it that way.

For me these quotes still hold true -

"Creativity is not a servant that will appear at your beck and call. It appears on its own terms when it knows it’s wanted. Be sure to put out the welcome mat."

I continue to think of this - If worse comes to worst and you’re really not getting anywhere, stop banging your head against a brick wall. Go do something really different. Watch a movie. Bake a cake. Take a walk in the park. As Albert Einstein put it: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Go back to what you're doing, when you’re refreshed.

Thanks again for stopping by.
